The Car

This is my 1999 Legacy GT. It has 187,000 miles on the body and transmission. I'm sporting a 2.5 liter engine with a rebuild top end thats pulling strong at about 11,000 miles. I bought the car back in June of 2011 and started modding right away. Shes come along way (litteraly) as I have replaced two calipers and rotors, both front headlights, all the tires, the oil, the wheels and where I park her every night. Shes been through 10 different states and 12 years. She still never fails to put a smile on my face and a hole in my pocket.

My very first rant will be about these little things that I found when researching how to replace valve cover gaskets. (And also rotating intake manifolds).

The Modder

TinoBagMy name is Tino and I enjoy moonlit walks on the beach, eating seafood and owning dachshunds. (Seriously now) This is my personal site that I try to keep up with. It gives me something to do other than surfing the various forums all night and wishing I had some super rare and expensive part. As you probably have guessed, I love Subarus and I love to mod. I grew up in New Mexico and am currently working in Pennsylvania (which is consuming the rest of my time). As some of you may know, going to work every day really limits what you can do (I sometimes work weekends as well). My goal here is to help you mod your own Subaru and to inspire you with new ideas.
