

Hello everyone that that might traverse the SubaruGarage universe (as small as it may be). I'm back with another awesome project that I finished after being back home for a week. You might have noticed my custom bumper (hole in front of the radiator is bigger). I know, I know. I haven't done a write up on it yet because well... I didn't do it correctly. And while its still holding up. I wish I had known the proper method before starting. Moving back on track, my original idea was to make my car look more like the super JDM GT-B Limited without spending massive amounts of money. Adding huge foglights in addition to your stock ones made my car look 100% more GT-B.

The Subaru Legacy GT's come with a body kit from the factory. After 12 years my cars kit was looking shabby. The once black side skirts were now a faded gray color. A simple solution was found in the form of a Krylon can of gloss black paint.
I had the car up on jack stands while working on another mod, and this opened a perfect opertunity for removing the ugly faded gray skirts.

Today I tackled something that had been bugging me for a while. While pulling off my wheels for a future project, I decided to give them a cleaning. With approximately 180 thousand on the ticker, the inner rim had turned a shade black from all the road grime and break dust that had accumulated. I knew that my wheels would look great with a bit of cleaning so I broke out the can of degreaser and got to work.
